Senior Financial Analyst
- Full Time, Monday-Friday, Hybrid Schedule, 3 days per week onsite/2 days remote, following training.

FairSquare is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role plays a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to provide actionable insights to leadership. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this position will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis to support the organization’s growth and financial performance.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, identifying key trends and variances.
- Perform cash flow and liquidity analysis, ensuring optimal capital allocation for lending operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support key business initiatives.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying drivers behind revenue and expense fluctuations.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational performance.
- Collaborate with Treasury/Capital Markets teams to support financial modeling, compliance tracking, and risk assessment.
- Assist in preparing presentations for senior management and stakeholders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role; experience in financial services/lending is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP principles, and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, scenario analysis, data manipulation).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work with large datasets; experience with DOMO, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and results driven mindset.
